As you can see, the Shattered Prayer has been moved and redesigned. Its also been moved to a WP platform, since I hated the ancient neanderthal platform I was using.

I wanted to intergrate this blog with the rest of Noumenal.Net, both design-wise and theme-wise, so I stuck with the same page design and kept the whole Paradise Lost theme for the logo.

The colour-scheme, however, is more of a blast . from the past. The blue and red were colours used on the very first incarnation of The Shattered Prayer. That whole design was based around a piece of fractal art I’d made, and though I no longer have the logo, I still have the fractal graphic.

The old Shattered Prayer archives will remain in place until further notice.

Wow, I like it! The new look is great! I must say that I miss the little quote about how the shattered prayer leaves room for the gnosis to seep in. Or something like that, I forget exactly how it goes. And I like the fluff-free zone!!!! that is great! just as a personal blog should be! You are great Che, I’m so happy you decided to keep it up, just be true to yourself!
I hope that you have recovered from the blogathon!

hmmm… I guess I’ll have to find a way to work that quote in somehwere then.

but glad you like the new look! I’ve been working on it all day (though I told myself I’d chill and take it easy - oh well).

I promise there’ll be more content soon. Its still very much in its infant stages (and I didn’t even have to shoot it out my vagina)

As I move around the new layout, I have to say I really like it. The highlights from the blog, the listing of the most commented on, the links to keywords that can take you elsewhere — all of these combine to make navigating your blog a very interesting experience. I’m so impressed, I won’t even mention the 2 point font for the comments!

I’m glad you like the layout, though its obvious that my spam-karma doesn’t like you very much. Even when I white-list your IP it still snags your comments. Obviously you possess something called “comment granularity” which spam-karma doesn’t like. What this means in laymans terms is that you’re an attention whore who posts lots of comments on my blog because you’re too lazy to make your own blog.

But unlike spam-karma, I like your comments.

Comments are now bigger dammit - only one pt smaller than the page text. Hope you’re happy.

As a comment whore, I have to tell you that I do approve of the font increase. I can’t just sit back and admire it. I have to comment. I have to increase my comment granularity. I may even post another comment about how I comment too much on this blog.

But I am too lazy to make my own blog.

YaY! The quote is back! I agree with Richard the Previous, the layout is great and I like all the tags that take you around the site and I love the comments ~ the news page is awesome, you are helping me break my CNN.com addiction.

ooooooooooooh, a happy face! Can I make an unhappy face too?

  10. happygirl on August 3, 2006 5:42 pm

    HA! A wink?

  11. happygirl on August 3, 2006 5:43 pm

How do I make a mean face? :/

  12. happygirl on August 3, 2006 5:44 pm

nope, that was fun though! :p

I think happygirl might be just a little too happy.

    ; )

You speak of my news-site breaking your CNN addiction but I gotta tell ya, the weirdest news on earth is pretty much the only news I see all day.  It puts one in a strange frame of mind.

If more people would look at strange and magickal news instead of the other crap we are getting force-fed, the world might have a chance!

Its true! Everyone should visit my News site! heehee…

I notice happygirl is experiencing the same granularity problem as R the P. I suppose I’ll have to change the granularity filters again for you two. Why do they call it granularity anyway? they make it sound like you have sand in your underpants.
