Hey, and how about Athens, GA! Macon!

I've been to Macon, France. Beautiful old city.

Athens, Greece i've been to too. Modern city with the impressive remains in the city center. It smells like an airport throughout Athens though.

I also am loving the idea of the Sparta GA reenactment. I think it would be a hit!

And I figured Boston might be a European city too. They should have had the decency to call it New Boston!

You think there will ever be a New Hahira or New Lizella?

Wheat gluten? My cats would murder me in my sleep.

I don't know, I'm kind of liking the Sparta (GA) reenactment idea. It would be profoundly disturbing but... but.... its kind of enticing. Like some twisted lorelei luring me into some rubicon-esque horror.

And R the P, Boston IS a european city. Its in England, on the Eastern coast. And it is absolutely dreadful. Really, truly horrific. I went to Boston on the same day I got lost in a field of killer sheep.

Long story.

Yeah, we don't use the generics either, so we thought we were safe on the first news reports. Then we found out that brands like IAMS and Natro were affected, and we were surely skirred for a while. The old food was a gods-send.

Now I switched to a small manufacturer of natural cat foods. Wheat gluten in cat food. Preposterous! Do cats go around trying to make bread in the wild?! I think not.

I've never been to either Sparta, the real one nor the faux GA one. The latter sounds very sad and bizarre. Never heard of Paris, GA, but I have heard of Paris, TX. With the exception of the real Paris, France, I can see nothing good about places or persons called Paris. They're all imposters and fakes.

A Spartan (GA) reenactment would likely be a profoundly disturbing event. And not in a good way.

Georgia just ran out of original names like Hahira to name their towns and starting looting Europe. There's even a Paris, GA. My favorite, though, is Boston, GA. I mean! At least steal from other countries.

That would make a great blog entry, day trip. It would be great if you could convince some Spartans to dress like they do in 300. That would be eye opening. Maybe even scary.

Sparta, GA IS disturbing, and nowhere near as interesting as its namesake. Much can be said for other Georgia towns - Rome, Athens, Vienna (which here is pronounce VIGH-enna. Geh.)

However, I was thinking of maybe going back to Sparta. And taking pictures. Maybe a day-trip. I think it would make an interesting blog post. 'This is Sparta'.

Nope, no tainted kitty food for us. That was really horrible, but I caught the news early on. And don't use those generic brands anyway. I'm glad Puss was too old to be exposed. And my cats too spoiled.

Poor old Puss, getting old cat food. But it saved her life!

Back at the NOLA airport, finished visiting my sites, but I'll be back next Tuesday. I'll be back a lot in the near future.

And Che is right to avoid anything reminiscent of that night. And of Sparta Georgia.

Speaking of kitties, I hope you didn't get any of that tainted cat food. Foreign rat poison in cat food, indeed! It's an outrage. Thankfully, our cat food was too old to be affected, so our kitty is OK.

Sparta, GA sounds sooooo disturbing... We mustn't think of it anymore.

Tiny cots are no good for the back. Sorry you must sleep on one of them. Air mattresses are better but if you have claw happy cats about, you may live to regret one of those. Regular mattresses are so super-pricey. [sigh]

I agree that though I like a good homofest full of hot or semihot guys is normally a good thing, I don't care much about seeing '300'.
