Thanks to my friends who’ve been showing care and support through all the crap recently. Bas and R the P and all y’all (yep, I say y’all, so sue me) who I’m lucky to have in my life.
R the P has been working long hours lately so hasn’t been around much, but he assures me his presence on the Shattered Prayer will return. I still say he needs his own blog.
I got the first 5 chapters of my novel gruellingly criticised today by my number one fan. Actually, the criticism was very positive and really helped me to focus on the directions I need to go in. (phrase ended in preposition, so sue me).
Well gotta get out the door, got stuff to do.
Love and a waggle-dance to all my friends.
Buy me a beer!

I glad the crisis is adverted in the short run. I only wish I could have been there more. First I was away at a funeral with little to no computer access, and now I am transitioning between jobs and am at home very little. What a time to have that interaction.
But as I said on the main page, you are a delight and an inspiration. I am glad you got through so much. You always do. There is an art to surviving — there are those that survive by using others, taking them for everything they can and there are those that survive on their own terms, respecting the dignity of others. You are definitely the latter.
I’m glad to see you back on the Shattered Prayer (and also lurking on the front page). I also see you’re making up for lost time.
I’m sure the readers will be glad you’re back, since you’re so much more interesting than me.
Much much love to you.
I’m not more interesting than you. Though it is kind of you to say.
I do, however, have a dead cat story to share on your dead cat story post. Doesn’t everyone have a dead cat story? Everyone shouldn’t, because cats are so wonderful, but I believe there are many dead cat stories out there. Maybe I’ll go post it now.
