Stay tuned to find the answers to these important questions:

Was Bas first in line for the new Harry Potter book? Did he score?

Has Shattered Prayer rebelled against Richard the Previous? Will he ever make another post?

Will strippers be hired in time for the Blogathon?

Will we find a chocolate bunny large enough to house all those Greeks in time for Tahitimas?

Will Lex Luthor and Clark Kent put aside their differences and fall in love?

Will Che do her laundry today, instead of fucking around asking stupid questions on her blog?

All this and more, on the next edition of The Shattered Prayer.

Don’t know about Bas or lines, but Amazon delivered HP to us this morning, sometime before noon but after 9 AM. That’s as close as we’re getting to first in line.

Interested to the answers to many of those questions, not the least of which would be the blogathon strippers, Lex & Clark’s love-tension, and (definitely) Che’s laundry.

Wow, you got it that quick? Why are people bothering to stand in line then, when they can just press a button.

And as for my laundry.Um… no. I decided dirty clothes aren’t so bad after all. If it doesn’t have a skid-mark or a mustard-stain, it can be re-worn. I’ll do laundry tomorrow.

I’m not sure… but I agree. Why bother, indeed, particularly when I got the book for about 45% off with free shipping which will arrive on the day of release. Seems silly to stand on line unless you just want to chat with other fans or be part of an event. Not my thing.

Good point about the laundry. I have used the same dirtiness rubric myself.

Ohh.. my… i just went partying with the guy from the synth shop. Two night in a row now. He’s an animal!
I’ll have to get my copy of HP soon though.. I’m told they’re flying. In a metaphorical sense.

Well there’s your answer to question one - Bas did not stand in line for HP - he went partying with the synth guy instead. (Sounds like a good idea to me)

And everyone will be happy to know (especially those people who have to stand near me) that I did finally do laundry tonight.

Fhew, I was worried, Che. I’m 1,000 miles away, but still worried about that laundry (jk).

Bas has all the right ideas: Party first, get book later. Books aren’t going anywhere, but parties — they could be a one-time event. Hopefully, over and over again, but each one is unique.

As a side note, I think I’m a binge-blogger: I go away for a while, then I come back and post multiple times and then start it all over again. Oh well. It’s something.

Yes Bas, we approve of the partying.

    *golf-clap*

And hey, whatever works for ya, Mojo.
