Is this the answer to one of Che’s questions.  Will Richard ever be able to post again?  Will you be inundated with comic book trivia in a blog that is supposed to be about Che’s life and musings?

The answer, apparently is yes.

Although apparently, he no longer can get the more tag to work.

Amazingly, there is something wrong with Firefox! I can do everything I am supposed to do from Safari, but Firefox won’t let me log in.

And I corrected the more tag too.

Bah, this blog isn’t about me. Its about all of us!

    But mostly me.

Good gods, I thought you made this thing for me!

Yeah, I think we’ll have to remove Firefox and reinstall. Not sure what happened, but something dodgy, certainly.

We’ll fix it this weekend, after WE do some laundry…

How strange that your FF is acting up. But, ummm…. if you don’t have Firefox, then how are you usings Scribefire, which is a FF plugin? And I know you’re using it because it says, right there on the post, powered byScribefire. (change your settings to remove that, by the way).

Oh, we haven’t removed FF yet, plus I comment from my laptop which is fine. It’s the desktop which is having issues… and it a big pain. BUT Safari works fine. So, I’m assuming it’s FF. Could be a bug or summat. I’ll reinstall to see what’s going on (R t P is taking a nap at the moment, so I’ll do it later).

Well I know but if FF isn’t working, how is he able to use Scribefire? Or is SF working but not the browserly stuff? Anyway, I’m just being nosy.

Yeah, I think SF is working, but FF is being a PITA…

I, awake from my nap, offer this explanation.

I posted using the Firefox plug in, but it kindly converted the more tag to an actual word. When I went to Shattered Prayer to see what was wrong, I noticed I wasn’t logged in, even though I was logged in. We opened up Safari and everything was okay, so it had to be some glitch in Firefox.

So all the posting got done on Firefox, all the griping, complaining, yelling at the computer about how it never does any fucking thing without some stupid fucking problem that is fucking impossible to fix in a timely manner happened on Safari.

Well I did explain to you twice that you need to add the ‘more’ tag in the HTML field, NOT the rich text field.

    Sigh.

Anyway, have fun fiddling with the computer. I hope you get it worked out - Firefox is hard to live without.

But if it turns out you must live without Firefox, I recommend SeaMonkey. In fact, I prefer it ever so slightly to Firefox, but I’ve never been able to get it to properly install on this computer.

The latest Opera is also nice, but there are too many ‘features’ on Opera that I feel bulk it up too much, and that I really don’t need.

Whatever you do, don’t use IE.
