I actually didn’t sleep for all that long after the ‘thon. Just a few hours. I do want to be able to sleep tonight.
Not to mention the smell of fried chicken, dumplings, butter-beans, peach-pie etc are keeping me well awake. After a night of nothing but tea and brownies (not sure I ever want to see another brownie again - oh thats a lie. Of course I do), yummy soul food has my mouth watering.
One of the most important things to happen to me last night was the Tarot readings. Anyone who takes a look at Extispex will see that lately, I haven’t had that much interest. Oh I still love the Tarot, but there are people in the world who make doing readings for others less than fun.
Last night my interest in reading for other people was renewed. The enthusiasm was infectious and I enjoyed every single reading I did. It made me remember why I started doing readings in the first place, and also made me remember that a reading always extends in both directions. A good reading is one that inspires and helps me as well as the querent, and I felt a lot of inspiration last night.
I also really pushed past my limits in how many readings I did. I have always limited myself to just a few readings a day, believing that any more than that would just drain me mentally and psychically. That did not happen last night. I was able to concentrate on each and everyone, and right at the moment when I did begin feeling too tired to continue reading, the requests stopped coming in.
I think I did thirteen readings in all last night. A good number, I reckon.
Okay, lets see what I can do to get the penises back up. Or maybe I’ll do something different, I haven’t decided. Of course if I remove the penises completely the gay menz will revolt, and there goes half my readership. Maybe a collage of nothing but penises!

I thoroughly enjoyed them because like you said, some people think you can see the exact future in these things, but that’s not really what they’re for.

Like Shelley, I’m jealous of your soul food. I suppose I could make my own, but I’m not that good at it. So, I’d rather eat someone else’s work… and that’s rather difficult to do while we live hundreds of miles from family.

Tonight I’m trying to get caught up on the Noumenal News, and sifting through code to make sure I’ve gotten rid of all the malicious code. What a fucking pain. I think I got everything last night but I gotta make sure.
I’m surprise at how behind I got on other stuff just by taking 24 hours off to do the ‘thon. Oh well, I’ll catch up. it was worth it. I think we did purdy damned good.
Good luck combing through all that code. That is NOT fun.
It is funny how behind you can get by taking out one day… We were not even ‘on’ but for part of the ‘thon and we got behind in all our ’stuff’. I am catching us up gradually, though.
Of course, we’re about two months behind where we need to be already, so there is that.
