The moon is squaring my natal Mars today, which means I’d be having more fun if I were boiling in oil.

Moon/Mars square means irritability, intolerance of others, argumentative behavior, hasty action. All that’s pretty normal for me. It can also mean minor accidents that effect me emotionally. The Moon, being presently in my eighth house, means this accident is likely to be spiritual in nature.

And speaking of which, a cat-accident robbed me of my favorite Tarot deck. The one I use the most, the one I’ve gotten so ‘in-tune’ with lately that its started feeling like an extension of me. Not like a stone penis extension, but more of a brain extension, a cybernetic implant that enables me to jack in to the big database o’ esoteric stuff.

Gotta watch out for that Mars. Sure he shows up in my dreams a lot, all butch and sweaty yet surprisingly friendly. But don’t piss’im off. He’ll rip out your brain implants.

And the Moon. That bitch is squaring all kinds of things today. My natal Uranus, and my natal Chiron.

And Mercury is squaring my ascendant. I don’t need a Tarot deck to tell my this is going to be a shitty day. I’m going back to bed and when I wake up tomorrow, I’ll pretend today never happened. Except I won’t have my brain implants.

Buy me a beer!

So THAT explains it! Yesterday and today I’ve had no energy, have felt drained and pissy, and have generally not felt ‘right’. Richard has been feeling similarly (from what I gather) as have my friends at work. We have all just been sitting in our offices, doors closed, roaming the internet and getting nothing done. UGH. Be glad when this one is done.

  2. Mojo on August 7, 2007 1:48 pm

Hope your day goes better and sans any more cat accidents.

  3. Mojo on August 7, 2007 1:52 pm

Let me also just say that I was thinking something completely different when I saw the title of this post: I was thinking breast augmentation. Which in your case, Che, would be unnecessary and frankly quite careless!

  4. Che on August 7, 2007 1:52 pm

Um… the moon is squaring my natal Mars. So what does that have to with you and R the P? Have you two bumbled your way into my natal chart?

I’ll check out yours and R’s, to see whats going on with you, but I very much doubt I have so much power that my own natal configurations effect everyone else on earth. Then again, you never know do ya?

  5. Mojo on August 7, 2007 1:56 pm

Oh, sorry. I’m reading too quickly while I’m at work… and thoughtlessly as well. Although, I wouldn’t be surprised if you were so powerful that you impacted our charts. I mean, storms do chase you all over the globe. Who knows?!

  6. Che on August 7, 2007 1:59 pm

Yeah, the moon is fucking with everybody today. Its opposing your natal Sun, and your natal Neptune. Its also conjunct Saturn. You should go back to bed.

With Saturn trining your natal Mercury, you’ve got tons of mental responsibilities, but today, with the Moon fucking with you, you don’t feel like dealing with it.

With Richard, Mercury is opposing his natal Mercury, which means he’ll probably be bitchy today, and argumentative. Verbally annoying, and you’re in no mood to deal with it. The Moon isn’t being too evil to him, though it is squaring his MH, which could mean he’ll be feeling emotionally drained at work today.

Can’t really explain whats going on with your co-workers, since I don’t know when they were born.

And re: Breasts, lately, my costochondritis has been acting up so badly I would prefer not to have breasts at all.

  8. Mojo on August 7, 2007 2:12 pm

Thanks! That explains a lot! My one coworker buddy is a Leo (in fact, his bday is Saturday).

  9. Che on August 7, 2007 2:15 pm

Beware! Richard may come home wanting to talk about his feelings today.

  10. Shelley on August 7, 2007 2:16 pm

Hope it all gets better soon guys!
Thankfully I’m still off work both today and tomorrow (extended my long weekend) so I don’t have to deal with anyone. Been hiding out from the world, work was a fat bitch with skinny envy last week. Although I nearly smacked the checkout guy at the grocery store, bastard was over charging me on everything then giving me an attitude when I told him it was wrong.
Hm! Maybe things aren’t that great with me either. ha ha!

  11. Che on August 7, 2007 2:17 pm

In fact, with the moon trining his natal Mercury, there may be much expression of feelings today. You may want to drink heavily before you get home.

  12. Che on August 7, 2007 2:22 pm

Shelley, the moon is trining your natal Uranus. You’re feeling a bit edgy and rebellious today. You’re wanting a little taste of something different or new. I would say go for it, but the moon is squaring your natal Mars (same as me today), your sun, Mercury, Pluto, Chiron and MH. No wonder you almost slugged the grocer.

Well I still say go for it. Why waste your day off hiding? And anyway, if you’re being kinda rebellious, then slugging someone wouldn’t be out of character for today.

  13. Mojo on August 7, 2007 2:23 pm

Sorry about the costochondritis. I hear it’s rather painful…

  14. Shelley on August 7, 2007 2:28 pm

Hm! Pemission to slug someone? That’s always good in my books.

So true! I am wanting a taste for a little something different or new. Maybe I’ll go and serch for it. It’s raining today and I was already planning to go for a long walk in the rain. It’s been so damn muggy and I love summer rain.

Thanks for checking out my chart.
I’m gonna google costochondritis, what the heck is that?
    Hope you feel painless soon!

the moon never fucks with me, i’m convinced of it. *grin* i’ve just been cranky because it’s been soooooo dryyyyyyyy (*tumbleweeds and dust death rattle voice*), the only cheer i’ve gleaned is seeing the moon. gah.

i will, however, be drinking heavily in distant sympathy for mojo and the impending onrush of feelings. ouch.

can you believe i’ve never heard “fat bitch with skinny envy” before? i’ll definitely be using that one, shelley.

  16. steff on August 7, 2007 7:24 pm

and condolences on the felined deck. that’s enough to make a person cranky whatever their stars say. i imagine it’s like being without internet access. *screams like a little girl*

  17. Che on August 7, 2007 8:26 pm

Yeah I’d be hard pressed to choose between my internet and my tarot deck. Of course, now there’s no choice. And I don’t want to burden anyone with my feelings or anything like that, but its been fucking depressing. Still, the troops must be entertained, especially when the moon is fucking with them.

And the moon may not be fucking with you, Steff, but you are in the middle of your Pluto square. Enjoy - I remember mine fondly.

  18. Shelley on August 7, 2007 10:37 pm

    Steff,
I made up the fat bitch with skinny envy but feel free to use. I felt the need to say something different because the people here are so damn smart. Every once in awhile I try to throw something out just to sound like I got somethin’ to say.

Che, do you need a tarot deck? I’m willing to send you one of mine. Let me know!
    S

  19. Che on August 7, 2007 10:49 pm

Thank you Shelley, thats sweet. Makes me wanna cry. I have a spare deck I can use, but thats all I’ll be doing with it. The deck that was hit by the CAT-astrophy (someone had to make that pun sooner or later) was one I’d formed a very strong connection with. I do plan to replace it as soon as I can, but even then it’ll take me a while to develop the level of resonance I had with that deck. Can’t rush that kind of energy, it just has to build. It’ll take time, no way around it. I do appreciate you thinking of me!

  20. Richard the Previous on August 7, 2007 11:45 pm

Did I miss the Cat-astrophe that harmed the deck. Is the deck not salvageable?

(Don’t get angry at me for asking! Just lamenting your loss!)

We can certainly help spring for a new deck as well. As I said in an earlier post, my daughter left the deck I gave her, so it got “regifted” back into my life. I may have to take a new look at them!

  21. steff on August 8, 2007 12:22 am

i have two decks, as i said… one is a fairly recent, standard b&n purchase, but the other is an older spanish deck. if i can find them, you’re welcome to either one.

so how long do i have with this pluto^2 thing? *grin*

  22. Mojo on August 8, 2007 9:25 am

Sorry about your beloved deck, Che. That sucks, plain and simple. But the good news is, at your merest request, you could have decks flying to you from all over North America! You and your skills are beloved…

  23. Che on August 8, 2007 11:35 am

Thank you everyone but really, this has less to do with tarot availability than it does the psycho-spiritual qualities of that particular deck.

  24. Mojo on August 8, 2007 3:24 pm

Well, that really does suck. I don’t think we can pop into Borders and ask for a tarot with those qualities. I guess when it’s damaged or gone, that’s it, huh? That bites.

  25. Che on August 8, 2007 3:31 pm

Well like I said, I do intend to replace it when I can, and start the long process of building that connection back up. But that process is something I have to do on my own.

And sure it sucks that its gone but its not like this sort of thing doesn’t happen to me all the time. If I weren’t so damned fascinated by the curses that are upon me, it’d be tragic.

  26. Mojo on August 8, 2007 3:42 pm

    Hmmm. Good points, all, Che.

  27. Richard the Previous on August 8, 2007 7:01 pm

That’s why I was asking if they are beyond salvageable.

But, it also follows that you can’t build a special relationship with a new deck if you don’t have some to choose from.

  28. Che on August 8, 2007 8:07 pm

And I intend to get another copy of the same deck, since it appeals to me on so many levels.

  29. Richard the Previous on August 8, 2007 10:12 pm

    Aha!

I don’t know why I said that, but it felt like a moment for a dramatic proclamation.

By the way . . . I’m so pathetic. One margarita and I’m a bit tipsy. I think it is because I get 1 hour of sleep a month. I’m probably not actually tipsy. Probably just sleepy.

As my breathing Doctor told me, driving sleepy gets you the same sentence as driving drunk in the state of New Jersey.
