Just kidding. Its not that bad.
I missed my third nap of the day yesterday. Mom had to go to the hospital last night. She’s doing much better this morning.
“Can you take KK to school?” she asks.
“You know I’ve got a suspended licence”.
“Well just don’t get caught”.
As noted in the comments yesterday, polyphasic sleep seems to be an appetite-killer. And as steff says, its the cookies that suffer for it.
I think its because I’m never hungry when I first wake up. Now that I’m waking up four times a day, I’m hungry a helluva lot less.
I’m not as sleepy as I thought I would be today. I’m less sleepy than if I’d had a full night of breathless allergy sleep. My core sleep seems deeper, and dreams. Hehe…. well at least I wasn’t giving relationship advice to Brittany Spears last night. Not that she doesn’t need it, but I’m probably the last person she needs it from.
Last night was some kind of weird fantasy romp through a forest. Complete with a mall full of buffalo.
There’s a mosquito buzzing my ear. Welcome to my home, West Nile Virus.
I do my core sleep in bed. I do my naps on the sofa, with Time Machines playing at a low level in my ear to block house-noise. Yet another nifty use for Time Machines. Will the wonders of that album never cease?
Well I reckon I better get the young’un to school.
Buy me a beer!

Yikes! Don’t get caught without that license!
If polyphasic sleep reduces appetite, I should try it! I don’t think they’d approve at work, though. They fired a guy for sleeping at his desk recently, so I shouldn’t try that.
Mall full of buffalo? Sounds better than a mall IN Buffalo (NY). Slightly dirtier, but still…
Well thats the point of the everyman schedule. Its adjusts to your schedule so you don’t have to sleep on the job.
If you were on the uberman schedule, you might have some trouble there.
