I think Dutch Courage Month should be one of the holidays.

And make it one of those long months.

Not February.

As for holidays, I say YES to at least one per month, preferably near the beginning. And another at the end. Plus 5 more in the middle.

Doing good here, and so glad to hear you’re feeling better. We’ve been missing you, but don’t overdo it.

Richard, Steff and I are doing nanowrimo this year, and I wish you could join us but you’re right. Might be best not to attempt it just yet. We would like you to get well.

Maybe Richard could write an extra novel in your honor. Two novels in a month -how hard could it be. Stephen King does it all the time.

We’ve been saying that here for years too - a day off each month! In Canada we have Christmas eve, Christmas and boxing day! I still don’t know what the hell boxing day is, other than the best day of the year to shop for deals, but who cares as long as it’s off.
I like the concept of a day day.
So I’m sneaking this comment out while at work.
How are you peeps? I’m finally feeling better. Still working on the recovery but not crying every night in bed in pain! Thank Goodness!
Doing physio and a friend of a friend hooked me up with a sound vibration machine which has been a Godsend!
Che? Are you nanowrimoing this year? I don’t think I’d better with the recovery and all.
Using spam names as characters is brilliant. Someone else blogged about it a few months back and I started keeping track of spam names. But using them for porn is even brillianter! ha ha!

I note you have Winter solstice listed, but not summer solstice (aka, my birthday). You also left out the Candlemas (aka your birthday.)

I also think all americans should be given election-day off. But that might encourage people to vote and I don’t think the government really wants that.
