These words of wisdom came from Sarah somebody in the mail this morning:
I can do this. WE can do this. However far behind you are, take comfort in knowing that there is somebody else out there in the same boat, and look for that next fun scene. And then the next. And if that doesn’t work, set someone on fire. In your book, of course.
Problem with that advice is that I’ve already set someone on fire in my novel. Hell… I did that in chapter one.
Of course, I’m not behind in word-count. I’m ahead. I’m ahead with the biggest load of tripe I’ve ever seen in my life. Except for the “on fire” bits. Those are good.
The screwdriver parts aren’t too bad either.
And the whole bridge-collapse/ouija thing. That was pretty cool.
Okay so its not all bad, but how long can I keep this up? Mom went suddenly into the hospital again, and now I’ve got ole Aries KK to deal with. (sorry Steff, but you Aries people… dear Lord. I want I want I want I want…. all day long.)
Well its time to get the little dear to school. Then I suppose I’d better do like most “moms” and take full advantage of those school hours.
Buy me a beer!

i’d say i was sorry, but i “get get get” often enough to make me conclude that some people think it’s charming.
Well, I don’t know how it’s classified, but I definitely want to read this creation, novel or not! Sounds like a helluva ride.
Good luck… espec. with your mom and being Auntie Mame to KK.
I dated an Aries woman once. Didn’t last long but she was prolly one of the least offensive lesbians I’ve ever dated. Which, honestly, isn’t saying much because I’ve dated some real loser lesbians. Or Losbians as I call’em.
I don’t like being pegged to a genre. I chose “horror” from the list when really its more of a southern gothic tale with elements of dark fantasy and the supernatural, maybe with the slightest bit of splatter-punk thrown in for fun.
