WOW, Che. I didn’t expect such a long and wonderful post! Thanks! While you’ve rightly pointed out that mushy is not my style, I agree that once yearly is A-OK with me. Richard, well, what can I say to my own Merrily on High chorus? Yikes, mostly, but I do appreciate the revised version!

And Happy Death-Day to St. Nicholas; Happy Sinterklaas to all our Dutch friends; and a big shout out to the 13th Amendment Anniversary! Thirteen is also my favorite number, which makes it a double-shout out. Not that the abolition of slavery wasn’t enough …

But I digress. Thanks all for the kinds words and history facts and lyrical genius. I am truly blessed. Which reminds me of Brian Blessed, who I may be turning into shortly… particularly the insanity part.

BTW, I didn’t know about that Labrador bit! How odd… was it an ethic-group thing or did the dogs just get really mad that they weren’t represented? Dogs - so demanding.
