I hope everyone had a happy Tahitimas! Its been awfully quiet around here for the holidays. Thats mainly because R the P has been down here, so hasn’t been posting, and also because I’ve been not only doing holiday crap, but have also been doing some extra work to raise money to renew our hosting. .

I’m happy to say that the renewal-fees are paid and we have website! For another year at least. I’m still doing the extra work though. Gotta recover from them holidays, eh? Anyway, there’s my lame excuse for the lack of postings recently.

So what else is going on? Well, Tahitimas was great. I got to see R the P and Mojo. We had our annual traditional Mexican Tahitimas Feast. I’ve got no idea what Mexican food has to do with Tahiti, but it wouldn’t be a holiday without a giant burrito and a glass of beer as big as my head. A couple of pitchers of margaritas. And much laughter. (and a tip of the hat to our waiter, Lorenzo, who was very nice and had a fine ass, which is - you know - always good.)

I kind of feel for Mojo - he always has to listen to my and Richard’s endless reminiscences. He should just slap us, really.

Christmas was a little more difficult. My mother was sick again, and  was just trying to make it through Christmas without another trip to the hospital. I did most of the cooking, and all of the cleaning. Combine that with a bunch of redneck relatives, and I was wishin’ for another pitcher of margaritas.

Mom went back into the hospital on Friday. But they caught it early this time (she didn’t wait until the last minute to go). So hopefully she’ll be out by Monday. She says she has to be out, so she can have the traditional New Years feast of fried chicken, black-eyed peas and turnip greens. I think this may mean I’ll be cooking again.

I love fried chicken. But I don’t much care for black-eyed peas, and I utterly despise turnip greens.Nothing worse than cooking a bunch of food you hate.

For the month of January, I’ll be doing some New Years readings. When I get the form up (which I hope to do today or tomorrow) I’ll point people in that direction.
And I think that catches us up to the present.

I hope everyone had a delightful Christmas, Tahitimas, Hannukah, Festivus, Winterval, Yule, Sol Invictus, Saturnalia, Kwanzaa… etc etc etc… And I hope you all have a wonderful new year.

Bah… I’m glad I found the extra work. Its crap I can do between tarot readings and surfing for porn. Its boring, but not too intrusive. I’m gunna keep it up for as long as it lasts, I reckon.

You don’t need to fill out a form for a reading - just pop me a line and say, “Gimme a goddam reading”.

    Yay Bas!

    Yay Shattered PRayer!

    YAY CHE!!!!!!

Mojo and I had a fantastic time with Che while we were down south. Unforutnately, we aren’t feeling that great now that we are back up North. Recovering from the REST of our Southern visit I guess.

    But That Che is TREMENDOUS!

    Love her to death!

Oh, dammit, I’m behind the times as usual. Suffice it to say we had a blast with Che enjoying our Mexican food (with cutie Lorenzo) and good times. I don’t mind the reminiscing, really. It’s fun to hear the tales.

Che, sorry to hear about your mom and the constant cooking and dealing with rednecks. We had loads of driving to do, but at least the food was ready when we got there… and not many rednecks to deal with, so we’re fairly lucky.

Still recovering from the holiday hectic dash… but glad to hear SP was renewed for another year!
