Mojo and I went to the bookstore today to get some books. When we got there, the check out line was nearly to the back of the store (the check out is up front). We asked a worker what was going on and she said that their lease was up and they decided not to renew. In one week the store closed forever.

We were saddened and shocked.

She then told us everything in the store was 25% off to get it off the shelf.

That helped ease the sadness.

Hey, there’s always Amazon.com.

Yeah.. It’s the future i suppose.

Lots of shops in my neighborhood have given in as well. And i know of shops who only can stay in business running an internet shop on the side. I know one that has had many internet orders from right across the street

Maybe it would be nice to open up a virtual bookstore with actual an queue, where you can flip through your new book and get lame comments from other queuers towards your choice!

Good point, Bas. You pick the location and we will move to the Netherlands. Che, you up for it?

I like that Bas’ virtual bookstore is located in the Netherlands.

But anything that gets us to the Netherlands is fine with me!

I also think Bas has nailed exactly what is missing from the virtual bookstore experience.
