As you pointed out, Sarah Jane is, even at 60, very nice to look at. The show was a lot like Dr Who, but without the Dr - not necessarily a bad thing. Sure we all love the Dr, but hey - fun stuff. And at least Sarah Jane didn't apply the sonic lipstick to her lips. And I gotta say this - anything they put on in that Friday time slot has GOT to be better than flash gordon. It amazes me the differences between British and American culture sometimes. In the US they would never have a show featuring a 60 year old woman as the lead in an action adventure show. It just wouldn't happen. And Sarah is looking good for 60. She is a year younger than my mother, and I kept trying to imagine my mother in the role. Didn't really see it happening.
