The latest release of ScribeFire: For those of you who aren’t using ScribeFire to blog, you should. You really should. The latest release kicks so much ass, it makes me want to start blogging again. So expect posts from me in the near future. They may not say much, but they’ll be posts.

Gingko Biloba: At first I thought “hey, this is almost like taking speed… not very good speed, but speed nonetheless”. It certainly wakes me up. But now that I’ve been taking it a few days, I’m noticing a real difference. I’m still not a creative powerhouse, but I’m more alert, more focussed, more energetic, and I need less sleep. I reckon I’ll stock up on the stuff while its on sale.

A day off: Its movie-day at Tami’s. I’m taking the afternoon off. I’ve been working sun-up to sun-down lately and I deserve a break. Of course, movie day at Tami’s is much more than heating up some pop-corn and popping a DVD into the player. Movies are a real production at her house. She has an enormous home theatre with a large screen and a projector, surround-sound, and comfy recliners. Her movie room has black walls, and no windows. She’s serious about them movies. I don’t know what we’re watching - Cloverfield, I think. But one of these days, I GOTTA make her show me Empire Strikes Back on that system.

Callie gettin’ flung out that airlock: I know I’ve mentioned it before, but I thought it worth mentioning again.

    It is worth mentioning. Repeatedly.

And the new scribefire is pretty impressive.

I hear you. Work work work. It makes the day . . . go.

At least you get paid at the end.

You know what is good right now?

    Nothing.

A little humor there for you. One of Mojo and my favorite lines from the Simpsons involves a similar joke from the Treehouse of Horror that featured Poe’s “The Raven.”

    Homer: “Sir,”
    Narrator: Said I
    Homer: or Madam, truly your forgiveness I implore;
But the fact is I was napping, and so gently you came rapping,
And so faintly you came tapping, tapping at my chamber door,
That I scarce was sure I heard you ”
Narrator: — here I opened wide the door; —-
Bart: [impatiently] This better be good.
Narrator: Darkness there and nothing more.
    Homer: Huh?
Bart: You know what would have been scarier than nothing?
    Homer: What?
    Bart: ANYTHING!

I remember that one from the Simpson- good one.

    See… somethings good right now.

Not this work. Nope… not this work. I’m so bored. But I get a break now - I get to go to the pharmacy to fetch my mother’s meds. Not even good meds.

    Yeah… nothing’s good.
