I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, but there are already multiple recipes for a margarita pound cake out on the net!

OK, so this is not a personally tried-and-true recipe, but it sure looks like something I’d like to try! Given that this recipe is shared on another site, I figure it’s only proper to give them credit and just link to the recipe.

    They have more than just that recipe on their site… They have a whole links page devoted to pound cakes! Brilliant!

    Mmmm… well I do love pound cake. OH MY GOD - that recipe takes 4 sticks of butter! Just reading the recipe is making my arteries harden!

    Eight EGGS! 2 cups of sugar!

    That’s just how pound cake was made in my family years ago: 1 lb each of flour, butter, eggs, and sugar. Add in some vanilla and leavening, mix it all up and bake. Perfection!

    No sense letting a little thing like consciousness get in the way of pound cake… *Homer drooling sound*
