There’ve been a few new changes and additions on SP lately. You might notice the link up there that says “Post to SP”. It means just what it says. Anyone can now post to SP, with a couple of notable exceptions. All posts are moderated, and my spam-filters apply, so we aren’t suddenly going to see a proliferation of posts about Viagra and co-eds gone wild.

I don’t expect a huge influx of total strangers posting, but its there in case Bas or Steff or Shelley should ever want to tell us something, they can do so without having to sign-in.

And there’s the Ajax. Mojo asked if that meant I’ve beefed up SP, dressed it in armor and sent it to fight in the Trojan War. Why is it that our conversations always take a turn for the Trojan? Or at least for the chocolate-covered Greek?

Posts on the index page have been ajaxified, as well as the comments, which are still limited to the permalink page. The reason for this is that adding comments to the index page caused too much clutter.

Then there’s the matter of my name. The blame for that goes to Mojo and Richard. We were on Plurk, and I mentioned my freakishly small hands, and that they made me look like a Tyrannosaurus Rex. It sort of went from there, but now I’m rather fond of it. Makes me feel like I have a last name.

This is fancy-dancy! And I love it. And yay to letting everyone post! Looking forward to posts by Bas, Shelley, and Stefficus!

Don’t hold yer breath. But its there if ever they should want to use it.

Basically I use SP to test various functions. If it works here, I know I can use it elsewhere. We’re a big ole experiment. But a big lovable experiment.

Yay for fancy changes, strange postings, and Che’s new surname!

I’m making a test comment here, because Shelley tried to make a comment which was not accepted. It could be because she’s picking up our bad grammatical habits, and the new comment-meister took offense. If this is the case, we’re all in trouble, and I’ll have to fire the new comment-meister and re-install the old one. so here we go:

    TEST!
