I want to make cupcakes  with this frosting. I think it would make awesome cupcakes.

1 stick butter

1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

1 tsp salt

1/4 cup milk

2 1/2 cups sifted confectioner’s sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla

Melt butter in saucepan and blend in brown sugar. Add salt. Let mixture cook over low heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add milk and continue stirring until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat and blend in confectioner’s sugar constantly. Add vanilla and mix well.

Yeah, I feel another stroke coming on. I’m thinking this could be good with a hint of nutmeg, or even using almond extract rather than vanilla, and topping the cake or cupcakes with slivered almonds. You think?

Crust:

3 cups flour

1/4 cup plus 1 tsp sugar

3/4 cup butter, softened

3/4 tbsp salt

Heat oven to [...]

There’s the recipe for the cake and the filling, but not the frosting, so I suppose you’ll have to [...]
