The Shattered Prayer

If I can get motivated, I’m going to update the back-end and the database of Shattered Prayer today. That means there may be some down-time. Will anyone notice?

A couple of things I’ve pre-ordered and am waiting for impatiently:

I go back and forth between the healthy method, and the unhealthy method, of boosting my creativity and brain-power.

You may have notice the microblogging widget where the google ads used to be. I added Plurk to SP because, well, we don’t always have time to post a full blog, and with Plurk, all of you can keep up with every second of my tedious day.

I’m assuming you want to.

I gotta say, Silence in the Library was a kick-ass Dr Who episode. I’ve been waiting for it to air here, ever since it first aired, and was reviewed, in England. It was written by Steven Moffat, who also wrote Blink, and it featured Tubbs Tattsyrup… er… I mean Steve Pemberton. But really… he’ll always be Tubbs Tattsyrup to me.

I spilled tequila on my keyboard today. Is that bad? I mean, it can’t be any worse than all the cat-hair adhered to my keys. And hey, the tequila might even eat through some of the cat-hair and make typing easier.

We have a lot of writers on SP. And by a lot, I mean four. And I get the feeling some of you may be using Microsoft products to write fiction. Can you see what’s wrong there? How can a soulless monstrosity like Microsoft possibly be conducive to the creative process? It can’t.

I must not be a very hip witch. Because I don’t dress like this. That tarot deck was in an Amazon ad when I got to SP today. Check out the illustration on the box - the pink sky and the sparkles. And the guy in the muscle-shirt. Yikes!
