The Shattered Prayer

2 ounces simple syrup or 3 teaspoons sugar
1/2 lime
10 fresh mint leaves
1/2 cup fresh ice
splash of bitters
1 1/2 ounce Rum
2 ounces club soda
a dash of curare
1 sprig of mint for garnish
1 lime wedge for garnish

Juice half the lime into the BLENDER, blend all the ingredients, pour into a tall glass and garnish with a sprig of mint and a wedge of lime.

I’ve already mentioned pizza on saltine crackers. Its not good. trust me. Now here are a couple of more recipe ideas for the person who is really, really overdue for a trip to the grocery store.

The crouton sandwich: This is made on stale hamburger buns, which is why I was hesitant to use them for the pizza.

You know, pizza isn’t nearly as tasty when its cooked on a saltine cracker.

Not nearly as filling either.

I’m trying to get psyched to finish chapter 9, but I’ve had very little sleep. Its kind of hard to write a complex chapter when your head feels muddled.
